WHO WE ARE

Holy Trinity is a warm, welcoming congregation.

We are made up of families and individuals that live throughout the Seacoast region. Holy Trinity has a strong worship program with over 225 people attending weekly worship. Our 8:30 worship is led by our folk choir and seems to attract younger families especially. Our 11:00 worship is a traditional service from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship book (ELW). Communion is shared at both services, and nursery is offered as well.

Social Ministry, in our local community and beyond, has always been an important element of our mission. Our people are actively involved in the Dover Soup Kitchen, Habitat for Humanity, Operation Blessing and Cross Roads House in Portsmouth. We host weekly AA meetings as well as other community events.

Christian education is a growing emphasis at Holy Trinity. We offer a strong weekly Sunday School program (9:45 to 10:45) for both children and adults. On Wednesday mornings we have a weekly Bible study led by Pastor Opderbecke. Our confirmation program is offered to our seventh, eighth and ninth grade youth. We are planning to begin an evening study group, as well as regional monthly studies in member's homes.

Please come and join us on a Sunday morning. If you have any questions you can reach me by e-mail at
